Software, built the way we build the hardware.
Modbap makes creative audio tools at the intersection of electronic music technology, beatmaking culture and hands-on performance. The software comes in lines. Each line is its own idea about how a tool should behave, and every one of them runs on the same license, the same trial and the same install.

Built different.
On purpose.
Modbap is an independent music technology company founded by Corry Banks. It began in modular synthesis, building Eurorack hardware shaped by the intersection of electronic music technology, beatmaking culture and hands-on performance. Not modular as an academic pursuit, and not beatmaking culture as a decoration on top of it. Both at once, which is where the name comes from.
The hardware taught us what a control should feel like under your hand, what a panel should ask of you, and how much of an instrument you can take away before it stops being playable. The plugins bring the same thinking to the desktop.

Reviewing it,
teaching it,
selling it?
Publications, reviewers, retailers, educators and artists who want to work with Modbap start the same way: open a case in the Hub. It is not a form that disappears into an inbox. The case keeps your request, our reply, your review copies and any assets in one place that both sides can still read in six months.
There is no press email address, on purpose. An address gives you no record and no way to tell whether anyone read it. A case does both.
